Nature
Coast Tree Corp's largest inventories are that of the Live
Oak Cultivar, SDLN Cathedral and the magnificent Cedrus
Deadora Patti Faye cultivar. The Cathedral
Live Oak is a beautiful full headed, upright tree with a
natural central leader. It is the most consistent and most sought
after cultivar today. It has a fuller denser canopy with darker
leaves. |

It
has been an outstanding performer in the job site and has been
used throughout Florida, up through the Carolinas and in Texas.
Whether you need one Specimen tree or 100 matching trees, the
Cathedral is the first choice.
At
Nature Coast Tree Corp's North Florida tree farm, the Seedling
Live Oak is and has been the tree most used. This natural native
southern Live Oak has been the tree of choice for ages. It is
the shade tree everyone wants. Hardy and sturdy it can be found
in zones 7B to 10A growing in all types of soil. Typically resilient
and beautiful, each is unique.
The
Cedrus Deadora Patti Faye cultivar is unique in that
it is a much wider body than the other blue trees.
Most blue Deadoras tend to be tall and thin,
where our cultivar is more like a Christmas tree shape. The magnificent
part is the blue like color every time it flushes. This is like
having a Northern Blue Spruce in a southern climate. Our Cedrus Deadora Patti
Faye has been grown in sandy Florida soil, making it
stable and hardy to live in the Southern or sandy soil job sites.
We have a number of our Deadoras growing well in Central
Florida for over two years. And there are seedling Deadoras
growing in most of Florida. For a unique evergreen, this is a
spectacular tree. |
With
over 80 acres in production we can offer a variety of sizes in
all our species. Our Live Oaks range
in sizes from 3" caliper up to 12" caliper. Our Magnolias range from 8 up to
20 high. Our Cedrus Deadoras range from 6 up
to 20 high.
Nature
Coast Tree Corp is a Roots Plus
Field Growers Association of Florida member and a Roots Plus
Grower, which assures you of quality trees living on our North
Florida Tree Farm. Research has found that hardened-off field
grown trees are superior in performance after they leave the
nursery and outperform container grown trees. Read more on RPG
